Land of the Free?

Whatever civil liberties remain to Americans are rapidly being taken away by the administration of Bush II, the Republican congress, and the newly distorted Supreme Court. "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance" used to be a rallying cry of people who called themselves political conservatives. Where are they today? Are they committed to restoring the Land of the Free, or have they now put greed above all their other gods?
